2018 Was a Year of Growth & Success — But the Best is Yet to Come!

2018 was an incredible year for the Namogoo family, filled with growth, important milestones, and achievements. While our teams both in Boston and Israel have been focused on continuing this momentum into 2019 and taking our company to yet a higher level, we thought we’d take a quick look back into some of the high water marks in what was a most memorable year for our company in 2018:
We welcomed aboard many top new online brands in 2018
Our customer base grew by 250% during 2018, as we were proud to welcome aboard leading retail and eCommerce businesses who discovered the significant impact of Customer Journey Hijacking, a problem that just a few short years ago was completely unknown to the industry. Joining happy customers like TUMI, ASICS, and Upwork, were brands like Dollar Shave Club, Deckers Brands, and New Look in 2018.
There are now over 100 global brands in over 38 countries worldwide keeping their customer journeys disruption-free and enjoying consistently improved sales funnel results.
Going beyond online retail, 2018 we successfully expanded into new verticals, including travel businesses, subscription-based sites, insurance providers and online marketplaces.
Our customers keep growing in number, and we grew to support them!
Our company more than doubled in size last year, with 48 new team members joining our team in both our Boston and Israel locations. That’s 4 new employees per month!!
Our family will continue growing in 2019 and beyond! To facilitate this, we were excited to move into our sleek new U.S. headquarters in Boston in April 2018. We were happy to be named amongst the best-designed office spaces in Boston, and yes (in case you’re wondering), it does come complete with ping pong and foosball table.
We also outfitted ourselves in 2018 — with a new brand
To kick off 2018, our team was thrilled to launch our new brand that captures our unique approach to enhancing the digital experience on both the business and customer side.
Digital Insights launches to give online businesses control over their 3rd party services ecosystem
In May 2018 we launched our Digital Insights solution, which provides full visibility into the 3rd and 4th party service ecosystem interacting with a digital business. Any enterprise that leverages their website for customer conversion or is concerned about the risk of data leakage will benefit from Digital Insights to analyze the impact and mitigate the risk services have on site security, privacy, and digital business KPI.
Our $15M Series B Round helped propel our technology and business forward
We were thrilled to share our $15M Series B funding in May. Hanaco Venture Capital led our Series B round, with participation from our existing investors GreatPoint Ventures, Blumberg Capital and Inimiti Capital. This proud milestone has helped us to forward this investment into our client-side platform and products and the Machine Learning capabilities that allow us to deliver unique value to our customers. Equally as important, this funding round has allowed us to invest even more into our people, growing all of our key departments on both the technology and business sides so that we can deliver value to our clients day in, day out.
Achieving a Win-Win-Win for our Partners and their Customers
We were excited to launch our Partner Program in July 2018. Partners are pivotal in our mission to enable online retailers to deliver a frictionless customer journey, protect brand equity, and increase conversion and revenue. With zero churn since our founding in 2014, our technology allows partners to strengthen their role as a trusted advisor while gaining an immediate and recurring new revenue streamed and expanding their reach in the marketplace.
We are thrilled to be teaming up with leading innovative technology companies like Microsoft, SAP Hybris, Signifyd, Spryker, and many others and will continue to grow this valuable network in 2019.
With all of this growth came some very cool news
We were honored to be named a 2018 Gartner Cool Vendor, which recognizes innovative and impactful eCommerce technologies. In their 2018 Cool Vendors in Digital Commerce report, Gartner states:
“Any company that relies on regular web traffic to sell products or services online should be concerned by the impact of Customer Journey Hijacking … By preventing these ads, brands can avoid losing revenue when consumers click through to competitors’ sites.”
Receiving recognition for solving the previously unknown problem of Customer Journey Hijacking was tremendously fulfilling and key to our ongoing market education efforts so that more online businesses worldwide preserve their customer journeys as planned and improve their business metrics.
We were thrilled to be named to CNBC’s Upstart 100 – a list of elite startups that are growing rapidly and breaking industry barriers. Namogoo was also proud to capture a 2018 MITX Award as a technology that impacts the future of customer experience, as well as a 2018 Atlas Award, given to Israeli start-ups whose technology delivers exceptional value worldwide.
Through it all, we had fun all along the way!
We could not have achieved any of these fantastic achievements and accolades without the incredible drive, passion, and hard work of our employees both in Israel and the U.S. Worked hard we did, but we also made it a point to celebrate great times throughout our 2018 journey!
Where to in 2019? The best part of our journey still lies ahead.
In 2019 our team is already focused on accelerating Namogoo’s growth and supporting our clients and partners while welcoming new ones.
We’ll continue adding talented team members to our Boston and Israel offices — and we’re excited to be opening our UK office in London in 2019 to help build on the great successes we’ve already enjoyed in Europe.
As well, our R&D team continuously works to fulfill our robust roadmaps to add new capabilities that will expand the scope of our platform offerings and help deliver even more value to our customers.
